Many company are into content management and blogging is a main part of content enhancement and management! Most of these companies publish their blogs but no one else shares these blogs. Main purpose of publishing the blogs is to for others to share it, forward it etc so that word spreads and marketing happens! Well, your content needs to be extra ordinary and “shareable”. Someone needs to be super impressed to share and forward it! Here are few reasons why your blogs are not getting shared:

  • Probably your timing is bad. It is said that blogs published in the morning, gets “hit” and “viewed” much more than blogs published at night or evening. Know your target market and their lifestyle to “hit it on the head”
  • Your headline may not be very appealing. They are the first impressions of the viewers. Make it in nice fonts and bold it. It catches a readers eyes. If your content is tweeted about, have a fun and appropriate tweet to grab proper attention of the target audience. Make sure headlines spark a sense of urgency and curiosity
  • Developing relations with your readers is important. Make sure you read their comments or even their blogs. Make further comments, reciprocate and be attentive to feedback. This will foster a bond and develop relationships
  • Stop writing only about yourself. Well, blogs are meant to write about your company so that people know you. But it is a slow process. You cannot write 10 blogs in a day praising your company. be more creative and interesting when it comes to topics
  • Your blogs and articles are not clear. There needs to be a positive and definite take away from your blog. If you have nothing new and interesting to offer to the readers, chances are they will not visit you again
  • You may not have “social share” button and still expect people to share?

It is important to put readers and viewers first in order to make sure your blogs are readable and further sharable!
